学习和工作经历 唐纪良,1957年生, 广西平乐人,广西大学终身教授,博士生导师。1982年2月毕业于广西农学院植保系,获学士学位,1989年毕业于英国东英格兰大学(University of East Anglia)约翰英纳斯研究所(John Innes Institute),获博士学位(Ph.D)。历任广西农业大学副校长、校长,1997年3月至2012年6月任广西大学党委副书记、校长。长期从事植物病原细菌分子遗传学研究。先后承担了国家“863”项目,国家自然科学基金重点项目、重大国际合作项目和面上项目等课题。主要学术成就有:主持完成了我国第一例植物病原菌―十字花科黑腐病黄单胞菌的全基因组测序和基因注释;构建了十字花科黑腐病菌的全基因组突变体库,该突变体库是世界上迄今为止覆盖率最高的植物病原细菌的突变体库;从十字花科黑腐病菌中鉴定到几十个新的致病基因,并对其中的十几个基因的功能进行了较深入的研究;发现了一种特殊的双组分调控系统;建立了一套适合于我国水稻白叶枯病菌分子遗传学研究的遗传操作体系;等等。已发表署名学术论文100多篇,其中50多篇发表在国际重要学术杂志上,出版译著和专著各1部,获发明专利18项。1991年被农业部授予优秀留学回国人员称号;1992年获广西第二届青年科技奖、中国科协第三届青年科技奖和国家有突出贡献的中青年专家称号,享受国家政府特殊津贴;1993年获广西百名青年科技标兵和首届广西十大杰出青年称号;1994年获广西优秀专家称号;1995年获自治区先进工作者和全国教育系统劳动模范称号,被授予人民教师奖章,成为国家新世纪百千万人才工程第一、二层次人选;1996年获广西劳动模范称号;1997年获全国五一劳动奖章;2003年获全国优秀留学回国人员称号和留学回国人员成就奖。是国家高技术研究发展计划(863计划)生物技术领域第四、五届专家委员会委员,国家自然科学基金生命科学部第六、七、十、十一届评审委员会委员,自治区第十、十一届人大代表和自治区第十一届人大常委会委员,第九、十、十一届全国政协委员。
